The very first time I went to London, it was only for a few hours. My brother and I had been in Paris for the Apple Expo (it was that long ago) and we decided to come back via London on the Eurostar. We only had a short time in the city, but it was still enjoyable. The weather though was a typical gloomy day, not unlike what we get in Ireland. The grey skies though made for a nice moody shot of the iconic Westminster bridge, the houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
Incidentally, this was taken on my first DSLR, a Canon Eos 300. Up till that point I had mostly shot film. The D300 was only 6mp but I still think the images stand up quite well.
