New York Skyline at Sunset

The top of the Empire State Building is probably one of the top tourist destinations in Manhattan, but if you get a chance to go, the best time is definitely at sunset. I was there a few years ago and managed to time the queues just right to be up on the observation deck, just as the sun was beginning to set. I shot a lot of images that night, and I’ll share some more in the weeks ahead.

Heppenheim

Just outside Frankfurt I went to a beautiful picturesque little town/village called Heppenheim. This was a wonderful little place that still has lots of medieval style buildings and is nestled in lots of green German countryside.
